Grew up in Texas and attended Sam Houston State
(College). Joined H & H Music Company in Houston in 1968.
Joined J.W. Pepper in 1972 and spent 23 years with Pepper. In 1995
joined Warner Bros. Publications in Miami as Vice-President/Education
overseeing all of the educational print music products. Joined
Southern Music Company in 2006.

- George Garay - Manager
- Employed at Southern Music Company in June 1988. Small Business Management and Computer
major with 25 years experience in both wholesale and retail sales. Keyboard and
instrumental background; works with computers and MIDI applications. Involved with local
community theatre productions. Became Manager of Book and Sheet Departments in 1992.

School (1977). Assistant Professor of Music/ Director of Bands at South Plains College
(Levelland, TX) 1978-1985. Assistant Professor of Music/ Director of Bands at the
University of South Alabama (Mobile) 1987-1993. Member of symphony orchestras (Bassoon) in
Lubbock, Midland/Odessa, Roswell, San Angelo, Corpus Christi, Austin and others.
Appearances in music theater in San Antonio, Lubbock, Mobile. Works published by Boosey
and Hawkes, Ludwig, G & M Brand, and Southern Music Company.
